LTM Track Geometry Measuring system
Non-contact optical and inertial measurement system for measuring Track Geometry as per EN13848-2 and -3 requirements.
Suitable for mounting on rail vehicles and hi-rail vehicles.
Product description:
Track geometry measurements are crucial for assessing and assuring track safety. In addition, these measurements are important for planning of maintenance. RT’s LTM Track Geometry system ensures track geometry condition is within the specified limits thereby ensuring safe train operations. The LTM measures all fundamental parameters such as gauge, curvature, twist, profile and alignment.
LTM
Applications:
- Monitoring of track quality as per EN13848 standards
- Preventing faults in the tracks (Twist, Top and Gauge)
- Assesing track maintenance requirements
- Monitoring of railway track degredation
Main characteristics:
- Measurements that are highly accurate and repeatable
- Relatively simple installation and setup
- User-friendly software for acquisition and review of measurement data
- Operation through notebook or tablet-pc
- Robust design
