Product description:

Rails are perhaps one of the most expensive assets which railway systems needs to maintain. Wheel rail interaction causes for rails to wear and in order to plan for efficient rail maintenance (including rail treatment and rail replacement if wear exceeds specified limits) accurate rail profile measurements are required to predict rail wear trends and to assess mobile rail treatment requirements (grinding and milling).
The EasyRail portable is a compact and user-friendly rail profile and wear inspection instrument which can be used on a variety of tracks and gauges.
